    Grants are awarded to increase women's employment in apprenticeship programs and nontraditional occupations.

    This includes: 

    • Develop pre-apprenticeship or nontraditional skills training programs 

    • Provide orientation for employers, unions and workers for women to succeed in those careers

    • Set up support groups, facilitate networks, provide support services to improve retention

      Grants are awarded annually
